Role overview
Nine West is hiring an Area Manager for a full-time, 12-month fixed-term parental leave cover.
The role is based in Sydney and oversees a portfolio of concept and concession stores.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support retail teams across designated stores and concessions.
- Manage reporting, audits and inventory or stock activities to maximise sales.
- Handle recruitment, training, coaching, reviews and performance-development conversations.
- Ensure stores and concessions meet sales targets and predetermined objectives.
- Support marketing and promotional initiatives and promote the Nine West brand.
- Foster a supportive, high-performing team environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Area Manager or Cluster Manager; fashion-based experience is ideal.
- Proven people-management experience in a retail environment.
- Energetic, self-motivated, action-oriented and approachable.
- Well-developed communication and organisational skills; able to work under pressure and multitask.
- Unrestricted working entitlements in Australia.
