Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop field teams and drive sales, productivity, and customer-experience targets.
• Plan workforce coverage, schedules, deployment, and shift support across Walmart locations.
• Use field visits, observation, coaching, role-play, and action plans to improve performance.
• Lead weekly huddles; monitor performance and address gaps in results, coverage, or compliance.
• Partner with client, retailer, and company stakeholders to support consistent program execution.
• Ensure compliance with sales processes, client requirements, retail standards, health and safety expectations, and company policies.
• Support onboarding, training, product knowledge, certification, and ongoing learning.
• Oversee field readiness, staffing processes, reporting, and compensation-related reconciliation.

Candidate requirements

• At least 3 years of field sales leadership experience; retail, utilities, telecommunications, direct sales, or similar experience is ideal.
• Demonstrated success leading multi-unit teams and coaching frontline leaders and representatives.
• Strong knowledge of sales performance management, workforce planning, scheduling, and field execution.
• Able to use data and reporting to identify trends, set priorities, and hold teams accountable.
• Regulated or compliance-focused sales experience is an asset.
• Strong communication, relationship-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to travel frequently throughout Alberta for in-store visits.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a personal vehicle.
• Able to support seven-day retail operations, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Compensation and benefits

• Base annual salary is $75,000–$85,000, with a monthly performance bonus.

Workplace and territory
