Role Description
The Architectural Engineer will work on-site in Dubai on a full-time basis, supporting the planning, design, coordination, and execution of High Rise building projects.
Daily responsibilities include reviewing architectural drawings, ensuring compliance with local codes and project specifications, and coordinating with structural, civil, and MEP teams to resolve design and site issues.
The role involves conducting site inspections, verifying work against approved drawings, and providing technical guidance to construction teams and subcontractors.
The Architectural Engineer will assist in preparing and reviewing shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements, while monitoring progress, quality, and safety standards.
The position also requires close collaboration with project managers, consultants, and clients to address design changes, support value engineering, and contribute to effective project delivery.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture, with the ability to interpret and develop architectural drawings, details, and specifications.
- Applied knowledge of Civil Engineering and Construction practices, including building methods, materials, and site coordination.
- Proven Project Management capabilities, such as planning tasks, tracking progress, and supporting delivery within time and budget constraints.
- Demonstrated Teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, site staff, and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Experience working on high rise building projects in the UAE with familiarity with local regulations and standards preferred.
- Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or similar BIM tools) and MS Office for reports and documentation.
