Overview
The Architectural Draftsman is responsible for producing accurate architectural drawings, shop drawings, and as-built documentation in compliance with UAE authority requirements and project specifications.
The role supports the Design team in delivering technical drawing packages for villa and building construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and develop architectural drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details using AutoCAD.
- Produce shop drawings and as-built drawings in coordination with site teams and consultants.
- Interpret design intent from concept drawings and translate into construction-ready documentation.
- Coordinate with BIM Modelers to ensure drawing consistency and alignment with 3D models.
- Ensure all drawings comply with UAE local authority standards (Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, etc.).
- Manage drawing revisions and maintain updated drawing registers.
- Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams for drawing submissions and approvals.
