Role overview
The company is seeking an Architectural Draftsperson for interior fit-out, landscape, and swimming pool projects.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings and develop 3D SketchUp models and visualizations.
- Convert briefs, concepts, and sketches into build-ready drawings; produce plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
- Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and suppliers on technical feasibility and accuracy.
- Apply knowledge of joinery, finishes, hardscape, swimming pool structures, and MEP coordination.
- Revise drawings to reflect client feedback, site conditions, and construction requirements.
- Ensure compliance with structural, safety, and local community and authority regulations.
- Maintain organized files, version control, and documentation standards.
Qualifications and experience
- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Two years of Architectural Draftsperson experience in villas, apartments, offices, interior fit-out, landscape, and swimming pool projects; two years of UAE experience are required.
- AutoCAD 2D and SketchUp 3D proficiency is required; V-Ray, Enscape, or Corona are advantageous.
- Knowledge of concrete, tiles, waterproofing systems, wood, steel, and finishes; ability to prepare build-ready technical documentation.
- Familiarity with site coordination, construction sequencing, and authority requirements; strong attention to detail, coordination, and time management.
- Must know Dubai communities and authorities, including Emaar, Nakheel, Tilal, Trakhees, Meraas, DDA, DEWA, Civil Defense, and Dubai Municipality.
- Dubai experience is preferred.
