EMKAAN Architectural & Engineering Consultancy
is looking for an
experienced Architectural Draftsman
to join our Dubai office.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing architectural drawings, authority submission packages, detailed design documentation, and construction drawings for residential and commercial projects across Dubai.
The ideal candidate should have strong AutoCAD skills, experience with Dubai authorities, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced consultancy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare architectural drawings and technical documentation using AutoCAD.
- Develop Concept, SD, DD, IFC, and Authority Submission drawing packages.
- Prepare and update drawings for DDA, Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, Nakheel, DEWA, and other authority submissions.
- Ensure drawings comply with Dubai Building Code and authority requirements.
- Coordinate with Architecture, Structure, MEP, Interior Design, and Site teams.
- Revise drawings based on authority comments, consultant feedback, and site requirements.
- Maintain drawing registers and project documentation.
- Support the project team during submission and construction stages.
- Deliver drawings accurately and within project deadlines.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Architecture or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Architectural Draftsman.
- Minimum 2 years of UAE experience.
- Advanced AutoCAD skills (mandatory).
- Experience preparing authority submission packages in Dubai.
- Strong understanding of Dubai authority requirements and approval processes.
- Ability to coordinate architectural drawings with structural and MEP disciplines.
- Experience in detailed design and construction documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and drawing quality.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good communication skills and teamwork.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Revit and BIM workflows.
- Experience working on luxury villas and high-end residential projects.
- Experience with DDA, Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, and Nakheel submissions.
- Basic understanding of BIM coordination processes.
