The Architectural Draftsman creates architectural and construction drawings for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi.
Responsibilities
- Create and revise plans, sections, elevations, layouts, working drawings, and construction details.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers to turn design concepts into accurate technical drawings.
- Prepare 2D and 3D drawings and update documentation based on site feedback.
- Support material selection and façade design in line with company product offerings.
- Assist with tile layouts, landscaping, and ventilated façade drawings.
- Ensure documentation follows project specifications, local regulations, and company standards, and is organized and delivered on time.
Qualifications
- Strong architectural drawing and drafting skills to produce clear, precise technical plans.
- Foundational architecture and planning knowledge to interpret designs and develop practical, buildable solutions.
- Construction drawing experience, including working drawings, details, and specifications aligned with local building codes.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit and relevant design tools.
- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering, or a related field, plus prior construction drafting experience.
- Knowledge of UAE building regulations and standards.
- Attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and effective communication with multidisciplinary teams.
Additional beneficial experience
- Familiarity with 3D visualization or rendering software is an advantage.
- Experience with ceramics, porcelain tiles, facades, or interior finishes is beneficial.
