MJU Engineering Consultancy is expanding its work and team around the region and would like to invite experience architectural design managers to send their application for this interesting job.
The Architectural Design Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai.
This role is responsible for leading architectural and interior design projects from concept development through detailed design and construction documentation.
The Architectural Design Manager will collaborate closely with engineers, consultants, and contractors to resolve design issues, maintain project timelines, and support quality control during all project phases.
The role also involves mentoring team of designers, overseeing design standards, and contributing to business development through design presentations and proposals.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Architectural Design and Architecture, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality design solutions.
- Experience in Design Management, including leading project teams, managing workflows, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in developing and reviewing Construction Drawings, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and constructability.
- Background in Interior Design, with the ability to integrate interior concepts seamlessly with overall architectural vision.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a closely related field; professional registration or equivalent certification is an advantage.
- Strong skills in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar 3D modeling tools).
- Familiarity with local building codes, standards, and permitting procedures in Dubai or the wider Gulf region is highly beneficial.
