Role overview

Design and documentation

• Develop architectural concepts, designs, and detailed drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
• Produce schematic designs, design development packages, construction drawings, presentation boards, technical submissions, and design proposals.
• Prepare door, window, material, and finishing schedules and assist with quantity take-offs.
• Create professional 3D models, renderings, and architectural presentations.
• Develop designs according to client requirements, project budgets, and schedules.

Coordination and site work

• Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, electrical, mechanical, and other disciplines; review drawings for errors, clashes, and inconsistencies.
• Review material samples, shop drawings, and technical submissions from contractors and suppliers.
• Conduct site visits and monitor work for compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Prepare technical reports and document site observations and design revisions.
• Ensure compliance with the Saudi Building Code, municipality regulations, and relevant authority requirements; maintain project drawings, documents, and revision records.

Education and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering from a recognized university.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in architectural design and construction documentation.
• Residential, commercial, or administrative project experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of the Saudi Building Code, municipality requirements, and permitting procedures.

Professional and technical qualifications

• Ability to read and coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP drawings; strong knowledge of detailing, materials, finishes, and construction methods.
• Valid Saudi Council of Engineers registration is mandatory.
• Good command of both English and Arabic.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit Architecture and BIM, SketchUp or 3ds Max, and at least one rendering program.
• Good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Personal skills

• Strong design sense, creativity, and attention to detail; able to identify and resolve design and coordination issues.
• Good time management and organization, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and presentation skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexible with design changes and multiple projects; able to work under pressure and solve technical problems.
