Key Responsibilities

• **Design Conceptualization**
• : Lead the design process from conceptual development to final execution, creating innovative, functional, and aesthetically appealing fit-out designs for commercial, and retail spaces.
• **Client Collaboration**
• : Work closely with clients to understand their requirement and vision, translating those into clear design proposals and detailed architectural plans.
• Provide design recommendations that enhance functionality, style, and sustainability.
• **Space Planning & Layout Design**
• : Develop optimal space planning strategies that maximize the use of space while ensuring compliance with local building codes, landlord/tenant criteria and regulations.
• Create detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings as part of the design process.
• **Collaboration with Project Teams**
• : Work closely with project managers, contractors, suppliers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the design is translated accurately into the built environment.
• Provide support during the construction and fit-out phases, ensuring design integrity is maintained.
• **Technical Detailing & Specifications**
• : Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and material schedules.
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and client expectations.
• **Design Presentation & Reporting**
• : Prepare compelling design presentations for clients, including mood boards, 3D visualizations, and sample boards.
• Regularly report on design progress, modifications, and updates.
• **Sustainability & Innovation**
• : Implement sustainable design practices and materials, considering energy efficiency, environmental impact, and longevity in design choices.
• **Continuous Improvement:**
• Gathering data through extensive research.
• Attending seminars and exhibitions to keep on track with latest innovation and alternative materials for options.
• **Quality Control**
• : Monitor the quality of design work throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that the design vision is accurately realized and meets the highest standards of craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of UAE experience in architectural design, with a focus on fit-out projects (commercial, retail, hospitality).
• Expertise in AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp is a must. Proficiency in Revit, Creative Cloud, Lumion, Enscade & VRay is a plus.
• Comprehensive understanding of building codes, regulations, materials, and construction methods relevant to the fit-out industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present design concepts clearly and effectively to clients and stakeholders.
• High level of attention to detail, ensuring precision in both design and technical documentation.
• Ability to find creative solutions to design challenges and address issues during the fit-out process.
• Exposure to the full lifecycle of fit-out projects from design to implementation is an advantage.
• Ability to do hand sketches/drawings for fast illustration is an advantage.
