Role overview

Responsibilities

• Guide internal teams and customers on network and security technologies; diagnose complex multi-vendor issues.
• Deploy and support network, security, monitoring, and management solutions.
• Prepare and update high-level and low-level designs, operating processes, and technical documentation.
• Provide expert support for Sev-1/MIM incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure corrective and preventive actions.
• Recommend infrastructure improvements; evaluate automation, observability, and AI-driven network management tools and support project estimates.
• Collaborate with global IT teams, OEMs, vendors, partners, and service providers; train and mentor L1/L2 teams.
• Serve as key point of contact for network transitions, transformations, growth, and greenfield/brownfield projects.

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years of hands-on enterprise experience in routing and switching, wireless, datacenter networking, and security.
• Proven multi-vendor implementation and operations experience, including Cisco, Aruba, or Juniper.
• Strong RF, wireless security, AVC, and enterprise mobility background; expertise with Cisco ISE, ACLs, VPNs, IPsec, GRE, and security architectures.
• Datacenter networking experience with BGP-Lite, VLAN, VXLAN, FCoE, TRILL, OTV, IS-IS, and datacenter fabrics.
• Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, virtual networking, datacenter projects, cloud infrastructure, orchestration, and hybrid networking.
• Strong understanding of SDN/NFV; practical automation with Python, Ansible, REST APIs, or Terraform.
• Proficiency with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, DNAC, Prime, or Splunk; ability to lead technical discussions and coordinate with global teams and stakeholders.
