Role Overview
This is a part-time remote position for an Emirati/Levantine Dialect Arabic Tutor.
The tutor teaches Arabic via virtual platforms and mentors students in cultural nuances.
Responsibilities
- Teach Arabic to students via virtual platforms.
- Create tailored lessons.
- Assess individual learning needs.
- Provide constructive feedback to enhance fluency.
- Mentor students in cultural nuances to improve communication in professional, social, and daily life contexts.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Emirati or Levantine dialect and fluency in Modern Standard Arabic and English.
- Experience in language teaching or tutoring, especially in Arabic instruction.
- Ability to evaluate learning progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Excellent communication, cultural awareness, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with virtual teaching platforms and remote learning technology.
- Educational background in linguistics, education, or a related field is advantageous.
- Certification in teaching Arabic or a similar qualification is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience.
