Role overview

Responsibilities

• Identify application system enhancements using development concepts, scripting tools, and code analysis.
• Consult users, clients, and technology groups; recommend programming solutions and install and support customer exposure systems.
• Apply programming knowledge to design specifications; analyze applications for vulnerabilities and security issues, and conduct testing and debugging.
• Coach new or lower-level analysts and resolve routine, complex, and non-routine issues using judgment and acquired technical experience.
• Manage day-to-day responsibilities and deliverables with limited supervision, supporting delivery quality and timelines.
• Assess risk, follow applicable laws and policies, and transparently escalate, manage, and report control issues.
• Translate business direction into actionable steps, support consistent processes, and evaluate complex requirements to recommend practical solutions.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant financial services industry experience and intermediate-level applications development experience.
• Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
• Clear written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in requirements.
