1. Risk Strategy & Governance

• Define and execute the long-term Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework, Risk Appetite Statement (RAS) as well as establish and monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)
• Own the risk policies and procedures, ensuring they are proportionate to a Category 3C business model and aligned with FSRA GEN Rulebook requirements.
• Empower the Management by assessing risks on all levels, including scenario analysis and stress considerations
• Provide high-level oversight, strategic risk insights, and transparent reporting to ARC and the Board.

• Digital Asset & Technology Oversight - working closely with the CTO
• Provide independent risk assessment for new product structures, ensuring the technical integrity of our issuance pipeline
• Oversee technology and cyber risk exposure, ensuring our IT infrastructure and cybersecurity controls meet rigorous FSRA expectations.

• Operational Resilience & Third-Party Risk - working closely with the SEO and COO
• Maintain a comprehensive Risk Register covering operational, conduct, regulatory, and third-party risks.
• Oversee material outsourcing arrangements, ensuring deep-dive due diligence and ongoing monitoring of all critical partners.
• Lead incident management and root cause analysis, ensuring lessons learned are embedded back into our control environment.

• Regulatory Alignment & Compliance Integration - partner with Compliance and MLRO
• Align the risk framework with financial crime and regulatory obligations.
• Drive the Compliance Monitoring Programme (CMP) by identifying key risk areas for testing and reviewing thematic outcomes.
• Represent the firm in technical and risk-based discussions with the FSRA, ensuring all documentation is "regulator-ready".

Required

• \~10 years of experience in risk management within financial services, with a deep understanding of operational and conduct risk.
• Proven expertise in navigating regulated environments (preferably ADGM/FSRA or DIFC) and managing technology-heavy risk profiles.
• Academic background in Finance, Risk, Economics, or a related field.

Preferred

• Professional certifications such as FRM, PRM, or CFA.
• Experience in the digital asset space, blockchain technology, or custody providers.
