Qualifications

  • Able to speak English; Arabic desirable but not mandatory.
  • High School Diploma

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to patients’ requests for assistance, ensuring comfort and safety.
  • Transport specimens from the Out-Patient Department to the laboratory in a timely manner.
  • Send and receive CSSD (Central Sterile Services Department) materials according to scheduled timings for all applicable departments.
  • Deliver files, documents, and forms between departments and the Medical Records Department (MRD), including admission files to inpatient areas as instructed.
  • Collect general and stationery items from stores for departments on allocated days.
  • Comply with all Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and infection control policies, standards, and procedures, and cooperate with hospital management to meet these requirements.
  • Be familiar with all hospital emergency and evacuation procedures.
  • Report OSH hazards, incidents, near misses, and assist in preparing risk assessments and incident reports.
  • Follow waste management procedures and policies diligently.
  • Attend OSH/Infection Control training programs, mock drills, and awareness sessions as required.
