Job Title: Applications Support Lead - Plant Support
Job Purpose
Responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous availability of critical business applications.
Leads the support team in incident resolution, application change management, and stakeholder communication while also overseeing PMO governance related to application support projects.
Also drives improvements in support processes, enforces governance standards, and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and business objectives.
Responsibilities And Accountabilities
- Assist in the end-to-end support of enterprise applications, ensuring alignment with business goals and deadlines.
- Contribute to maintaining quality assurance processes, ensuring applications meet performance, reliability, and security standards.
- Provide support during deployments, ensuring smooth execution with minimal disruption to business operations.
- Support comprehensive testing strategies to meet required quality standards and ensure application functionality.
- Contribute to integrating automated testing tools for enhanced testing efficiency and accuracy.

- Own day-to-day support, resolving technical issues quickly to ensure high availability and performance.
- Lead efforts in incident resolution, minimizing disruptions to business operations.
- Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor application performance, suggest optimizations, and implement improvements.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues to ensure long-term resolution.
- Perform validation testing in production environments post-deployment to confirm application stability.

- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure applications meet their needs.
- Provide technical insights to align application delivery with strategic business goals.
- Collect and analyze feedback to inform ongoing improvements and enhancements.

- Effectively communicate risks and testing updates to stakeholders during development cycles.

- Collaborate with external managed services teams to ensure the smooth delivery of services and alignment with business needs.
- Provide regular reports on vendor performance and recommend corrective actions as needed.

- Monitor applications closely after handover, ensuring stability and addressing any emerging issues.
- Track application usage and generate detailed reports on performance, identifying areas for optimization.
- Ensure Track application lifecycle milestones, renewals, and licensing to ensure continued service and compliance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a relevant field
Experience
6 to 7 years of relevant experience.
Experience
in leading large scale transformations for Enterprise Asset Management and Experience in IBM Maximo
