Role overview

Responsibilities

• Maintain existing applications and operating environments, identify enhancements, and recommend improvements.
• Analyze system logic and recommend or implement enhancements and fixes.
• Research and define change scope and objectives, and document requirements.
• Partner with development and production support teams; participate in validation and testing.
• Evaluate options in situations not covered by procedures and apply relevant prior experience.
• Support execution of business decisions, address non-routine challenges, and ensure timely, reliable work.
• Analyze business requirements and recommend practical solutions using structured thinking and professional judgment.
• Manage day-to-day work and delivery outcomes, review outputs, and address gaps against expected standards.
• Assess risk, follow applicable laws and policies, and transparently escalate, manage, and report control issues.

Qualifications and education

• 2–6 years of experience or interest in application support procedures, concepts, and other technical areas.
• Participation in some process improvements.
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills; knowledge of banking applications and server infrastructure.
• Ability to work under pressure and communicate well with teammates and others.
• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
