Role overview

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, technology risk work, and application development.
• Monitor analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation; provide application support to business users.
• Analyze complex application issues and evaluate business processes, system processes, and industry standards.
• Recommend and develop security measures based on post-implementation business usage.
• Consult with users, clients, and technology groups; recommend programming solutions and assist with customer exposure systems.
• Help define operating standards and procedures; coach lower-level analysts.
• Assess risk, comply with applicable laws and policies, and escalate, manage, and report control issues.

Recommended qualifications

• 8–10 years of relevant experience with Oracle and its administrative functions.
• Database analysis experience troubleshooting performance issues and tuning queries for existing PL/SQL stored procedures.
• Experience managing and implementing successful projects; working knowledge of consulting or project management methods.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or changing expectations.
• Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.

Compensation
