Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the corporate central ticketing system to ensure timely resolution of support issues
• Maintain and update IT application support documentation
• Escalate issues, when required, to the appropriate technical resources
• Review documented resolutions and recommend improvements to prevent recurring issues
• Conduct research and collect and analyze data to prepare reports and documentation
• Identify and learn the software and hardware supported by the organization
• Test fixes to confirm issues have been resolved and document findings and final resolutions

Key Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Networking, or a related discipline
• Knowledge of basic computer hardware and application software
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on rapport-building, active listening, and effective questioning
• Excellent customer service orientation with the ability to communicate technical concepts in user-friendly language
• Prompt, reliable, self-motivated, and highly dependable
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
