Application Engineer

Main tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Able to write technical reports, and treatment proposals.

Master the water Analysis tests; provides input during the initial survey during the commissioning stage and ongoing customer service in compliance with the Application Quality Plan.

Responsible for providing services and assisting customers with problem-solving support regarding their products/applications/solutions.

Provide on-site field service and over-the-phone or on-site assistance.

Conduct site surveys, and product/application/system audits.

Discusses and advises clients regarding results obtained from sampling; establishes and meets customer needs when adjusting the treatment program as well as ensuring the satisfactory performance of the plant; advises clients regarding the possibility of upgrading and improvements the company can provide.

Chemical Preparation and dosing in the sites.

Supervises chemical cleaning and disinfecting operations; carries out on-site chemicals inventory; ensures P.O. as necessary is submitted by clients and that deliveries are prompt.

Ensures all standard equipment and reagents for the laboratory and field analysis work are properly maintained; prepares site/ field analysis reports; maintains meticulous records of all tests etc., performs any other work-related duties as directed by the Chemical Business Manager- Western Province or his designee.
