About the Role
Provide technical services and problem-solving support to customers regarding Metichem's products, applications, and solutions across assigned customer accounts.
Ensure consistent implementation of Metichem's service standards across all client sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for assigned customer accounts, ensuring effective water treatment solutions.
- Conduct customer site visits, sampling, and field evaluations to monitor treatment performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Optimize treatment programs by recommending adjustments to chemical dosages, flow rates, and equipment settings.
- Advise clients on system upgrades, product improvements, and process optimization to enhance plant performance.
- Participate in design reviews, new application start-ups, and performance evaluations.
- Supervise chemical cleaning and disinfection operations, ensuring safe and effective execution.
- Prepare technical reports, analyze sampling results, and recommend corrective actions to resolve operational issues.
- Monitor on-site chemical inventories and coordinate purchase orders and timely deliveries.
- Maintain laboratory and field analysis equipment and ensure accurate testing records and reports.
- Collaborate with Sales Engineers to strengthen customer relationships, improve service quality, and support business opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company QHSSE policies, Product Stewardship requirements, and applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
- 2-4 years of experience in a similar technical service or water treatment role.
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in water treatment chemistry, including wastewater treatment, cooling water systems, and boiler water treatment.
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is an advantage.
