Position Overview

To lead pre-sales and post-sales technical engagement across K–12 and higher education institutions.

The role focuses on designing, presenting, and implementing Apple-based learning environments, including device deployment strategies, MDM solutions, Support and integration within broader EdTech ecosystems.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in Apple technologies with the ability to engage senior school leadership, IT teams, and educators to deliver scalable, impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • 1.
  • Pre-Sales (This is 60% of the job, not 20%)
  • Lead technical discovery sessions with schools to uncover real pain points (not surface-level requests)
  • Design end-to-end Apple ecosystem solutions (devices + MDM + workflows)
  • Architect deployment models (shared iPad, 1:1, BYOD, hybrid)
  • Present solutions to:
  • IT Managers (technical depth)
  • SLT / Principals (impact & outcomes)
  • Run live demos:

• Apple Classroom, Schoolwork

  • Jamf School
  • Jamf Pro (when needed)
  • Mosyle
  • Support RFPs, proposals, and technical write-ups
  • Work closely with sales to increase deal size and close rate

2. Solution Design & Architecture

  • Define device lifecycle strategies (enrollment, provisioning, refresh cycles)
  • Design automated deployment workflows (zero-touch / ADE / Apple School Manager)
  • Structure MDM policies:
  • App distribution
  • Restrictions
  • Classroom management
  • Ensure compliance with:
  • Data privacy policies
  • Education authority requirements (ADEK, MOE, etc.)
  • Align Apple ecosystem with:
  • LMS (Canvas, Google Classroom, etc.)
  • Identity systems (SSO, ClassLink, Azure AD)

3. Post-Sales Implementation

  • Lead onboarding and rollout of MDM platforms
  • Configure and deploy:

• Apple School Manager

  • MDM environments (Jamf / Mosyle)
  • Support pilot programs (POCs) and validate success criteria
  • Train IT teams (admin level)
  • Troubleshoot deployment issues at scale

4. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as trusted advisor to:
  • School leadership
  • IT Directors
  • Academic coordinators
  • Translate technical setups into educational outcomes
  • Support long-term digital strategy conversations (not just projects)

5. Internal Enablement

  • Train sales team on Apple ecosystem positioning
  • Build reusable demo environments and scripts
  • Document best practices and deployment frameworks
  • Stay ahead of Apple and MDM updates

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Proven experience in a client-facing technical role (pre-sales, solutions consulting, or implementation) within EdTech or enterprise IT
  • Hands-on expertise managing Apple ecosystems in education environments, including iPadOS and macOS deployments at scale
  • Strong working knowledge of Apple School Manager, including device enrollment (ADE), app distribution, and user provisioning
  • Direct experience configuring and administering MDM platforms like Jamf School (preferred), Jamf Pro or Mosyle.
  • Ability to design and articulate end-to-end Apple deployment strategies (1:1, shared iPad, BYOD, hybrid models)
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical stakeholders (IT) and non-technical decision-makers (school leadership)
  • Experience supporting or leading technical pre-sales activities, including demos, solution design, and RFP responses
  • Proficiency in English is essential;
