Apparel Sample Maker

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Construct and sew high-quality samples using a straight-needle sewing machine.
• Support and assist with small-lot cutting as needed.
• Follow verbal and written technical package instructions for garment construction.
• Work closely with Technical Design.
• Suggest improvements to sewing productivity and product quality.

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in using a straight-needle sewing machine.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Experience cutting and sewing garments.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Proficiency in using buttonhole and hemming machinery is preferred.

Compensation

• Estimated base salary ranges from $18.40 to $22.98 per hour.
