Develop the integration layer connecting a digital Residents and Tenants Portal with third-party and enterprise systems.
Build secure and reliable APIs and middleware for authentication, e-signature, payments, access control, CRM integrations, and notifications.

Integration Responsibilities
- Design and maintain RESTful APIs and third-party or enterprise integrations.
- Integrate identity providers for SSO, two-factor authentication, password reset, and session management.
- Develop e-signature integrations for contracts and termination workflows.
- Integrate CRM, leasing, access-control, payment, invoicing, email, SMS, weather, and events systems.
- Build middleware and orchestration logic to synchronize systems.
- Define API contracts with OpenAPI or Swagger.
- Implement OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, secure authorization, retries, recovery, webhooks, and event-driven handlers.
- Coordinate environments, credentials, API access, testing, production promotion, and stakeholder delivery.
- Monitor API performance and errors, troubleshoot production issues, and maintain documentation and runbooks.
Required Qualifications
- At least 4 years of API development, backend development, or integration engineering experience.
- Strong production experience building and consuming REST/JSON APIs.
- Strong understanding of OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, and webhook-based architectures.
- Experience with at least one e-signature platform such as DocuSign, Adobe Sign, or similar.
- Experience with SSO and identity providers such as Azure AD, Okta, Auth0, or similar.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, .NET, or Java.
- Experience with API gateways, middleware, message queues, or iPaaS solutions.
- Experience with Postman or Newman for API testing.
- Strong understanding of API security, integration testing, and production support.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Experience with access-control or physical-security system APIs such as Genetec or Lenel.
- Experience with real-estate or leasing CRM platforms such as Yardi, MRI, Salesforce, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Experience with Azure API Management, MuleSoft, event-driven architectures, or message brokers.
- Experience in enterprise integration or digital transformation projects.
Success Measures
Required integrations are delivered, tested, and successfully pass user acceptance testing.
APIs and integrations are secure, reliable, and scalable.
Integration issues are resolved within agreed service levels.
Documentation supports client teams after handover and collaboration remains effective across stakeholders.
