Angular Java Fullstack Expert-Assistant Vice President

Role Overview

Technical Leadership and Delivery

• Partner with Product Owners to clarify requirements and create technical specifications, system designs, and execution plans.
• Lead secure and scalable API contract design with upstream, downstream, and dependent teams.
• Manage deliverables across the SDLC from requirements through post-production support.
• Work non-IST hours when required by project timelines and global collaboration.
• Coordinate with technology and user-experience vendors on implementation plans and roadmaps.

Hands-on Engineering

• Develop, debug, and implement Angular front-end interfaces and Spring Boot microservices.
• Use generative AI tools and modern engineering practices to improve coding velocity and operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot coding, performance, and design issues and drive defect resolution.
• Apply information modeling, data structures, algorithms, and dependency management across the system lifecycle.

Process and Governance

• Support coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and architecture standards.
• Participate in Agile delivery, test plan execution, and software quality activities.
• Streamline development, testing, delivery, production operations, and business processes.
• Assess risk, maintain compliance with laws and policies, and escalate control issues transparently.

Team Leadership

• Assume formal or informal leadership roles and coach, train, and mentor new recruits and junior engineers.
• Share technical knowledge through team forums and engineering sessions.

Recommended Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in a professional product development environment.
• Hands-on Angular and Spring Boot microservices development experience.
• Strong RESTful API, microservices architecture, and complex integration experience.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.
• Experience managing delivery from requirements analysis through post-production support.
• Flexibility to work non-IST hours with global teams.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Extensive Agile software delivery experience.
• Experience leading culture changes and infrastructure programs.
• Excellent written and oral communication and diplomacy skills.

Education

• Bachelor's or university degree, or equivalent experience.
