Role overview
Support anesthesia providers in delivering safe and efficient patient care in an operating room environment.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, check, and maintain anesthesia equipment, supplies, and medications before, during, and after procedures.
- Assist with patient preparation and monitor equipment functionality.
- Follow safety and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals on surgical and procedural workflows.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in anesthesiology and anesthesia support techniques.
- Understand general medicine principles and clinical procedures relevant to perioperative care; have hands-on operating room experience supporting surgery teams.
- Hold a relevant diploma or degree in anesthesia technology or an allied health field.
- Hold a valid DOH, DHA, or MOH license or Eligibility Letter, as applicable.
- Be familiar with infection control standards, equipment sterilization, and emergency protocols.
- Have good communication skills, work well in a multidisciplinary team, and be ready for shift-based work.
- Demonstrate commitment to high-quality patient care, safety, and comfort.
