Android- Technology lead

About This Role

Lead - As an Android Application Developer Lead, you will be responsible to support, maintain, and troubleshoot backend systems in production. This role focuses on ensuring system reliability, resolving incidents, and collaborating with engineering teams to improve service stability and performance.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Expected to be an SME

- Collaborate and manage the team to perform

- Responsible for team decisions

- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions

- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams

- Develop and implement Android applications

- Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery

Professional & Technical Skills:

- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Android Application Development

- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Kotlin

- Strong understanding of software development principles and practices

- Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON

- Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts

- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git

Additional Information:

- The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in Android Application Development

- A 15 years full time education is required

- Troubleshooting experiences (tools, logs analysis etc.) and quick Troubleshooting skill

- 5 years of Experience in Application / Platform support activities, proficient in ITSM tool, processess and Support activities.

- Willing to work in shifts, on-call for Operational supports

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR14,000.00 - QAR17,000.00 per month
