About the role

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Android applications.
• Build scalable and maintainable applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Implement Jetpack Compose and modern Android development practices.
• Apply MVVM and Clean Architecture principles.
• Integrate REST APIs using Retrofit and handle asynchronous operations with Coroutines and Flow.
• Work with Firebase services, including notifications, analytics, and crash reporting.
• Collaborate with backend developers, UI/UX designers, and product teams.
• Debug issues, optimize application performance, and improve app stability.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
• Publish and maintain applications on the Google Play Store.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Kotlin and Java.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose and understanding of MVVM or Clean Architecture.
• Experience with Retrofit, Coroutines, Flow, and Room or SQLite.
• Experience with Firebase.
• Understanding of Android lifecycle, navigation, background services, and push notifications.
• Experience integrating REST APIs.
• Good knowledge of Git and version control.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred experience

• Experience with Maps and Location APIs is preferred.
• Experience with payment gateway integration, deep links, push notifications, app performance optimization, and publishing or managing Google Play Store apps is preferred.
