Role Overview
Serve as a bridge between strategic business needs and analytical solutions on the Enterprise Strategic Analytics + Data Science team.
Use consulting and technical skills to deliver data-driven insights supporting business growth and operational excellence.
Analytical Project Execution
- Lead analytical projects under Analytics Partner guidance.
- Explore, clean, and prepare data to ensure quality and integrity.
- Develop analytical models using statistical and machine-learning techniques as needed.
- Generate actionable insights, recommendations, visualizations, and presentations.
- Participate in implementation and deployment of analytical solutions.
Strategic Partnership
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand goals, challenges, and analytical requirements.
- Identify analytics opportunities that improve decision-making and business value.
- Translate business needs into projects with scope, objectives, and success metrics.
- Conduct business assessments and support strategic recommendations and roadmaps.
Technical Expertise
- Use SQL, Python, R, cloud data platforms, and visualization tools for analysis.
- Work with Databricks and Snowflake for exploration, transformation, analytics, and large-scale processing.
- Troubleshoot data and analysis issues and contribute to data pipelines and analytical infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, business, finance, economics, or related field.
- 3-5 years of consulting, analytics, data science, or related experience.
- Business or financial/statistical data analysis experience.
- Databricks and/or Snowflake experience is required.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL, SAS, SPSS, Palantir, Python, and related analytical software.
- Retail experience is preferred; IRI and Nielsen data knowledge is a plus.
