Operational Excellence And Compliance
- Assist in executing corporate actions events and settlements accurately, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with defined rules of the AD CSD to streamline transaction processes and enhance overall system reliability.
- Assist in executing settlement processing, post-settlement reconciliation, and support in the management of short selling (insufficient stock).
- Report failed trades and manage funds settlement to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.
- Assist in reconciling positions for short sales, long holdings, and securities borrowing and lending, maintaining accurate and transparent financial records.
- Execute the commission and rebates processes, ensuring accurate calculations and timely disbursements.
- Assist in Liaise with Members to enhance operational efficiency and implement changes to the operating rules & regulations.
- Assist in automating manual processes together with internal IT stakeholders.
- Support in the Implementation of new products and enhancements in line with business strategy.
- Assist in the registration and maintenance of collaterals supplied by participants, in collaboration with AD Clear, ensuring precision and security.
- Assist in the execution of corporate actions, including dividends, stock splits, mergers, and acquisitions, ensuring accurate and timely completion that aligns with shareholder expectations, as well as market standards and practices.
- Support in conducting in-depth research and review of corporate action events using the database system, providing accurate and thorough analyses for informed decision-making.
- Comply with corporate actions (CA) events management, communication, reporting, and CA claims.
- Support the audit functions related to settlements and corporate actions, promoting compliance and thorough oversight.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that corporate actions, including dividends, mergers, and acquisitions, are accurately processed.
- Support corporate actions reporting and ensure accurate processing of claims and communications with stakeholders
Stakeholder Engagement And Communication
- Support, when applicable, stakeholders and clients, providing guidance on settlement and corporate actions issues.
- Support in timely communication of corporate action events to stakeholders, providing clear instructions and resolving any queries.
- Actively engage with internal teams, clients, and other stakeholders to resolve issues, improve service delivery, and maintain effective relationships.
- Help with the timely and accurate dissemination of information to shareholders, fostering transparency and trust.
Continuous Improvement
- Assist in analysing current processes to identify and recommend process improvements, particularly in automating manual activities and improving efficiency.
- Assist in the review of operational procedures and contribute to the successful implementation of process enhancements.
Risk And Business Continuity Management
- Assist in generating & automating comprehensive reports for management and regulatory purposes, providing insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making and operational improvements.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, AD CSD rules, and corporate governance standards governing activities and prepare regulatory filings and reports as required.
- Support the identification and management of risks within settlement and corporate actions processes, ensuring adherence to risk management practices.
- Assist in preparing reports for risk management, regulatory compliance, and business continuity planning.
