Analyst - Safety Assurance ( Safety Management System)

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Support SMS policies, objectives, reporting processes, and safety performance measures.
• Analyze safety data and coordinate safety meetings and projects.
• Prepare presentations, governance materials, records, and Safety Manual updates.
• Support safety communications, training records, competency development, and safety promotion activities.
• Develop and integrate SMS efforts with other safety teams.
• Use AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity to improve work efficiency.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, change management, aviation management, information systems management, risk management, safety management, or an equivalent field.
• Two or three years of experience in Safety Management Systems.
• Knowledge of system safety, quality management, standard documentation processes, project management, analytics, and communication.
• Proficiency in English and experience using AI tools to improve work efficiency.

Preferred qualifications

• Quality certification such as SMS certification, MITRE, or an equivalent, or a pilot or maintenance license.
• Working knowledge of Sitecore, ETQ, Foundry (Palantir), aviation regulations, IOSA, ISO 9001, CAST SE, or related documentation standards.
• Experience with cross-functional facilitation, root cause analysis, human factors, or change management awareness.
