Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or four years of equivalent work or military experience.
- At least one year of quantitative analysis experience.
- Able to use computer-generated decision-support modeling.
- Able to collaborate with Pricing leadership on strategy and tactical plans.
- Able to conduct quantitative evaluations, make recommendations, and analyze costs and revenue across departments.
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, or Finance; a master’s degree is also preferred.
- SQL, statistical package, or LTL industry experience is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills, with ability to multitask and manage deadlines.
What you’ll do
- Review pricing and understand contract and tariff applications.
- Analyze costs and develop pricing options for Sales negotiations; compare shipment rating scenarios and net results.
- Analyze customer revenue, costs, and shipping patterns to identify yield, network-density, and cost opportunities.
- Request customer profiles and update cost models.
- Use the Base V auto rating system, identify rating issues, and initiate resolutions for accurate invoicing.
- Provide timely answers and quotes, and perform initial setup of Off Bill Incentive programs.
