Role overview

IT and network support

• Provide day-to-day IT and knowledge management support to staff personnel.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity, network, intelligence, and other network points of contact as required.
• Troubleshoot hardware and network issues; operate and maintain secure video teleconferencing, phones, and computers.
• Support classified Government-furnished systems on NIPR, SIPR, JWICS, and other networks in the accredited secure environment.
• Maintain computer hardware lifecycle replacement and turn-in programs.

Access, compliance, and security

• Create, modify, and delete user profiles; manage accounts, permissions, shared files, and least-privilege access controls.
• Maintain endpoint knowledge management and RMF requirements, system authorization, and continuous monitoring.
• Manage eMASS authorization packages and maintain site diagrams and IT equipment and endpoint records.
• Serve as COMSEC custodian, managing accounts and key material and equipment.
• Serve as Information Assurance Manager and program manager for IT systems, vulnerabilities, and threats.
• Implement information security and assurance requirements, including SAP-specific requirements, and maintain compliance with Army and DoD guidance.
• Coordinate IT systems and maintain Authorities to Operate and Authorities to Connect.

Systems planning and acquisitions

• Support IT acquisitions by drafting requirements statements, receiving quotes, developing budgets, and coordinating purchases.
• Evaluate new or changing software for compatibility, usability, speed, and effects on current and planned systems.
• Analyze system requirements, integrate systems, assess designs, plan implementations and budgets, and resolve integration issues.
• Keep continuity of operations plans aligned with daily operations and applicable DoD and Army policies.
• Conduct security surveys and inspections and develop remediation or risk-management plans in response to findings.

Required skills and experience

• Detail-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.

Compensation

• Structured salary information lists USD 140,000–150,000 per year.
