Role Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and detail-oriented AML Compliance Officer to join our Doha team. This role is critical in ensuring the company adheres to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations, identifies financial risks, and maintains strong compliance controls across all operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and assess transactions to identify potential AML risks and suspicious activities
  • Conduct customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD) procedures
  • Ensure compliance with AML laws, regulations, and internal policies
  • Investigate alerts and escalate suspicious cases to relevant authorities when required
  • Maintain accurate records of compliance checks, investigations, and reports
  • Support internal audits and regulatory inspections
  • Assist in developing and updating AML policies and procedures
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on AML compliance requirements

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Professional certification (CAMS or equivalent) is highly preferred
  • Minimum 3–6 years of experience in AML, compliance, or financial crime prevention
  • Strong understanding of AML regulations and compliance frameworks
  • Excellent analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and strong ethical judgment
  • Strong communication and reporting abilities
