Role Description
We are seeking an Arabic-speaking AML/Compliance Officer to join our team in the insurance sector.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi.
Responsibilities
include monitoring and ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, managing anti-money laundering (AML) programs, conducting risk assessments, preparing compliance reports, liaising with regulators, and providing compliance guidance to internal teams.
The candidate will also support the development and implementation of compliance frameworks and policies.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Compliance Management and expertise in Regulatory Compliance processes
- Strong Analytical Skills and attention to detail in reviewing financial and regulatory documentation
- Excellent Communication skills in Arabic and English, both written and verbal
- Solid understanding of Finance and regulatory frameworks in the insurance or broader financial sector
- Relevant certifications (such as CAMS or ICA certifications) are a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within diverse and dynamic environments
- Knowledge of MENA region regulations and laws is highly advantageous
