A skilled ambulance driver to provide safe, efficient, and professional driving support for medical transport services across UAE.
The Ambulance Driver is responsible for operating vehicles in compliance with UAE road regulations, ensuring patient and crew safety, and supporting clinical teams during transport operations.
You will transport diverse group of patients while working collaboratively with professionals to meet performance expectation.
Have good communication skills and willingness to work with diverse group of people.
Required to support other services within the hospital such as Emergency Department when required while waiting for patient transfer activation.
· Driving & Transport Duties
- · Safely operate ambulance vehicles across UAE and surrounding areas.
- · Ensure compliance with all RTA (Roads and Transport Authority) rules and regulations.
- · Fostering a culture of professionalism, empathy, and safe patient care service
- · Collaborate with professionals across hospital facilities to improve quality of service delivery and address challenges.
- · Participate when required in meetings, committees, and other Department activities
- · Contribute to accreditation processes, and ambulance service delivery reports
- · Drive responsibly under both emergency and non-emergency conditions.
- · Plan and follow the most efficient routes, considering traffic and urgency.
- · Maintain high standards of road safety at all times.
- · Conduct daily vehicle checks (pre- and post-shift inspections).
- · Ensure the ambulance is clean and roadworthy.
- · Report any faults, damages, or maintenance issues promptly.
- · Support management to prepare for DCAS inspections.
- · Participate as directed by management in marketing events, and projects.

- Quality Health, Safety, Environment and Business Continuity:
- Understand, participate, and comply with the Quality, Health, Safety, Environment
- (QHSE), and Business Continuity (BC) Management System requirements
- Report hazards, near misses, incidents, non-conformances, risks, vulnerabilities, and suggestions to Line Manager.
- Participate in QHSE and BC activities and investigations when needed
- Wear the required PPE, attend relevant training, and comply with QHSE & BC policies and procedures
- Be aware of emergency procedures, site evacuation procedures, and use of relevant emergency tools and equipment
4. Person Specification And Qualification
· Must be currently based in Dubai.
· Must have DCAS Ambulance driver Licence
· Must have BLS/First Aid Qualification
· Valid UAE Driving Licence (appropriate category for large vehicles).
· Proven experience driving large vehicles (e.g., vans, ambulances, or similar).
· Strong knowledge of Dubai roads, routes, and traffic regulations.
· Must meet RTA registration requirements.
· Good communication skills (basic English required).
· Ability to work flexible shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays).
· Must possess excellent organizational skills, clear communication and ability to work under pressure.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
