About the Role
In this role, you will oversee and manage all aspects of the Jaquar Display System (JDS) projects both in-house and outsourced, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and strategic market requirements. This role involves working closely with internal teams, external vendors, and design agencies to develop new display designs, manage quality checks, and finalize commercial agreements. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining the integrity of designs, ensuring consistency across global markets, and adhering to timelines and financial parameters.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage outsourced & inhouse Jaquar Display System projects, ensuring layouts and designs meet approval requirements from dealers
- Finalize project inventory, ensuring alignment with approved designs
- Develop 3D models, working drawings, and BOQ (Bill of Quantities) for seamless project execution
- Track project progress and handle any escalation issues that arise
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure project alignment with design expectations
- Coordinate with dealers for layout and inventory finalization specific to lighting installations
- Utilize AutoCAD for precise layout and working drawings tailored to lighting projects
- Use SketchUp for 3D modeling to present lighting design concepts
- Enhance project presentations using Photoshop for rendering visual elements
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and dealers to ensure timely approval of lighting components, layouts and designs
- Lead the development of new designs that align with market trends and business requirements
- Ensure all designs meet quality control standards and adhere to brand guidelines before final release
- Define the scope of work for design agencies and manage invoice approvals
- Handle the closing of commercial agreements with design agencies, ensuring all deliverables meet expectations
- Coordinate with the Marcomm team to align graphic and signage elements with overall brand strategy
- Develop external signage in accordance with brand guidelines, collaborating with project teams to ensure smooth execution
- Manage communication between internal teams and external stakeholders for effective escalation management
Key Attributes
Strong understanding of displays and VM techniques
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop for layout creation and presentation design
Ability to conceptualize and develop designs that align with global brand standards
Ensures precision in designs and adherence to brand guidelines
Ability to manage multiple VM design projects simultaneously, both outsourced and in-house

Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; Certification in AutoCAD and SketchUp preferred
- Experience: 6-8 years of experience in design, visual merchandising, interior design, or related project management roles, ideally in a global or multinational setting
- Skills: A keen eye for design quality and consistency in every display installation Aptitude for identifying project bottlenecks and managing escalations proactively Strong communication skills in dealing with global teams, vendors, and agencies
