Overview
We are a leading aluminium and façade solutions company based in Jeddah, specializing in curtain walls, architectural screens, sliding systems, and custom metal works for high-end projects across Saudi Arabia
We are currently looking for an experienced Aluminium Draftsman to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare shop drawings for curtain walls, sliding systems, aluminium windows/doors, and architectural screens
- Develop fabrication drawings for production (cutting lists, assembly details, glass coordination)
- Coordinate with engineering, production, and site teams
- Review and respond to consultant comments
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and site conditions
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in aluminium / façade drafting
- Strong experience in shop drawings & fabrication drawings (mandatory)
- Advanced AutoCAD skills
- Knowledge of curtain wall, sliding systems, and aluminium profiles
- Experience in GCC projects preferred
Preferred
- Experience with Schüco / Technal or similar systems
- Knowledge of Revit / BIM
Nationality Preference
Filipino candidates preferred
Competitive salary based on experience
Only candidates with actual aluminium / façade experience will be considered.
General architectural draftsmen will NOT be shortlisted.
Fabrication & Production Drawings
- Develop fabrication drawings for factory production:
- Profiles cutting lists
- Assembly details
- Glass & accessories coordination
- Coordinate with production team to ensure buildability and accuracy
Coordination
- Coordinate with:
- Design & engineering teams
- Site engineers
- Project managers
- Resolve clashes between architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of:
- Aluminium profiles and systems
- Curtain wall detailing
- Fabrication drawings
- Ability to read and interpret:
- Architectural drawings
- Structural drawings
