The OpportunityJoin our team at BDA's Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Services Capability as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.We're looking for skilled, driven individuals to join the E-7A Wedgetail program, to help keep these aircraft mission ready. As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), you'll be hands‑on with maintenance, modifications, servicing, inspections, testing and fault‑finding on aircraft systems. You will:Collaborating with the MRO team to ensure efficient task completion,Ensuring compliance within the DASR Part 145 Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) regulations.Fostering effective communication and coordination with Boeing, customers, and industry teamsEnsuring Quality Assurance (QA) procedures, aircraft maintenance/modification operating procedures, and meticulous documentation practices.Embrace a positive attitude towards Environmental Health & Safety, prioritizing the well-being of all personnel. What you will bring to BDAAs an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will have:Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical)Be an Australian Citizen to meet Defence security requirementsHold a current driver's licence.DesirablePrevious experience working with Military aircraft.Hold a CASA or DASA Maintenance LicenceThis role may require travel and periods working away from home.
