Overview
- Accurately calculate fuel requirements based on flight plans, aircraft type, and weather conditions, ensuring precise fueling amounts to optimize performance and safety.
- Operate fuel trucks and fueling equipment, including connecting and disconnecting hoses, monitoring fuel flow, and ensuring proper grounding to prevent static discharge.
- Conduct pre-fueling inspections of aircraft fuel tanks, fueling systems, and equipment, identifying and reporting any discrepancies or potential hazards before fueling commences.
- Monitor fuel quality, checking for contamination and ensuring compliance with aviation fuel standards, taking immediate action if any issues are detected.
