Air Force Program Manager - Remote

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university, with at least 4 years of project management or program related experience
• PMP certification is an asset
• Prior engineering/operations experience with current experience in project/program management
• Strong understanding of and proven experience with project and change management principles
• Proven management and leadership skills
• Strong ability to schedule and manage tasks effectively
• Strong ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Excellent organization, communication (written and oral) and presentation skills
• Ability to break down complex inputs from senior leaders and experts into actionable plans/courses of action
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to lead team members from various disciplines
• Excellent negotiating skills are frequently called upon as are the instincts necessary to keep customers satisfied while protecting the interests of the company
• Outstanding problem-solving skills: able to identify issues and apply innovative thinking
• Identify and manage program risks and opportunities and implement mitigation plans
• Strong knowledge of program management best practices, risk management, contract management, financials, and ITAR regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Project; Smart Sheets, SAP, Agile PLM, Microsoft Power BI, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience preferred
• Must be US citizen and able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance
