Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an Air Conditioning Installer at Handytech Technical Services LLC.
The Air Conditioning Installer will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing residential and commercial air conditioning systems, including split units, ducted systems, and package units.
Daily tasks include reviewing work orders and technical drawings, conducting site assessments, measuring and preparing installation locations, mounting and connecting indoor and outdoor units, and ensuring proper refrigerant charging and system testing.
The role also involves troubleshooting faults, performing routine preventive maintenance, cleaning and replacing filters and coils, and ensuring systems meet safety and efficiency standards.
The installer will communicate with customers and the coordination team, provide clear updates on job status, document work performed, and follow company health and safety procedures while working across various locations in the UAE.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in AC installation, maintenance, and repair, including experience with split, ducted, and package units.
- Solid understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical connections, control systems, and HVAC safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer installation manuals.
- Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and airflow issues.
- Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain work clearly and professionally to clients.
- Physical ability to work at heights, handle tools and equipment, and perform manual tasks in various environmental conditions.
- Relevant vocational training or certification in HVAC, air conditioning, or a related technical field; UAE experience is an advantage.
- Valid UAE driving license and willingness to travel to different job sites as required.
