MIAMI GLOBAL LINES (MGL) is a Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) registered Ocean Transport Intermediary (OTI) or Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC) & Indirect Air Carrier (IAC).
Our head office is in Piscataway, NJ with a branch.

Job Description
- The Air & Ocean Export Specialist will assist in a fast-paced work environment.
- He/she will take on different aspects of various duties to ensure the smooth Quotations, documentation, departure and release of cargo.
- These duties include:
- Taking inquiries and quotations
- Customer service by phone and by e-mail
- Troubleshooting and problem solving
- AES (automated export system) data-entry and reporting
- B/L preparation
- Interfacing with Air & Ocean carriers,, overseas agents, internal departments, regulatory bodies and others
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in the shipping industry
- College degree preferred, but not required
- Motivated quick learner / self-starter who can work under minimal supervision
- Ability to identify, analyze and quickly resolve problems
- Ability to plan ahead and achieve results in a multi-tasking environment
- Detail oriented and well organized
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills
