Role Description
The AI Trainer role is a remote, contract position focused on developing, refining, and evaluating training materials and data sets used to improve AI models.
Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and annotating text or other content, providing clear, consistent feedback on AI outputs, and following detailed guidelines to ensure data quality and accuracy.
The AI Trainer will collaborate with internal teams to clarify requirements, suggest improvements to instructions, and help optimize AI performance across various domains.
The role may also involve researching topics, testing new workflows or tools, and documenting observations to support continuous model enhancement.
Qualifications
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to produce clear, consistent, and contextually appropriate content.
- Analytical and research skills, including the ability to understand complex instructions, evaluate information critically, and provide detailed feedback.
- Comfort with digital tools and platforms, familiarity with AI or machine learning concepts, and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on clarity, professionalism, and constructive feedback in remote settings.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage tasks independently while meeting deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as Computer Science, Linguistics, English, Data Science, or related disciplines) or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in training, content review, data annotation, quality assurance, or similar roles is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote, contract-based environment with reliable internet access and suitable workspace.
