Role overview

Key accountabilities

• Design, develop and deploy scalable, secure and governed data and AI solutions using Databricks and Microsoft Foundry.
• Define the technical roadmap for AI and automation, aligning platform strategy with business priorities.
• Lead and mentor an AI engineering squad, driving innovation, technical quality and delivery.
• Identify high-value business use cases, rapidly prototype solutions and scale successful AI products into production.
• Ensure AI governance, security and ethical practices, and integrate solutions into enterprise platforms and business processes.

Skills and experience

• Extensive experience delivering data, AI, machine-learning and generative-AI solutions.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Databricks, Microsoft Foundry and the wider Azure ecosystem.
• Proven experience leading engineering and AI teams, coaching talent and building high-performing squads.
• Commercial problem-solving ability and skill translating business challenges into practical, value-driven AI solutions.
• Strong communication and influencing skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Passion for data and AI innovation and awareness of emerging technologies, market trends and opportunities.

Work pattern

• Support teams work in the office at least three days a week to support collaboration.
