As part of our ongoing digital transformation strategy, we are seeking a visionary and experienced **AI Technology Director** to lead the development and implementation of artificial intelligence initiatives that will drive operational efficiency, enhance customer service, and create competitive advantages across our logistics network.
Position Overview
The AI Technology Director will be responsible for establishing and executing the company's AI strategy, identifying high-impact technology opportunities, and leading the deployment of AI-powered solutions throughout logistics, transportation, warehousing, and corporate operations.
This executive leadership role will work closely with senior management to leverage data, automation, and machine learning technologies to optimize business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the organization's AI and advanced technology strategy
- Identify opportunities to apply artificial intelligence, machine learning, predictive analytics, and automation across logistics and supply chain operations
- Lead AI-driven digital transformation initiatives and enterprise innovation programs
- Oversee the design, implementation, and management of AI solutions and intelligent business systems
- Develop predictive models for route optimization, fleet management, demand forecasting, inventory planning, and warehouse operations
- Implement AI-powered solutions to improve customer service, operational efficiency, and decision-making
- Establish AI governance, cybersecurity, data management, and ethical AI standards
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align technology investments with business goals
- Lead teams of data scientists, AI engineers, software developers, and technology professionals
- Evaluate emerging technologies, strategic partnerships, and vendor solutions
- Develop business intelligence platforms and advanced analytics capabilities
- Manage AI project portfolios, budgets, resource planning, and performance metrics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- Master's degree, MBA, or PhD preferred
- Minimum 8+ years of progressive technology leadership experience
- Proven experience implementing AI, machine learning, automation, and analytics solutions in enterprise environments
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing, data engineering, enterprise systems, and AI platforms
- Experience leading large-scale digital transformation and technology innovation projects
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within logistics, transportation, supply chain management, warehousing, freight forwarding, or distribution industries
- Knowledge of fleet management systems, transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and supply chain technologies
- Experience with IoT, computer vision, robotics, predictive maintenance, and intelligent automation solutions
- Professional certifications in AI, cloud technologies, project management, cybersecurity, or data science are advantageous
