KLONDIKE is expanding its distributor-focused business in the United States.

Role overview

The senior individual-contributor role turns defined business opportunities into deployed AI-enabled solutions across business functions.

The architect works directly with the CEO and functional leaders to turn scoped problems into technical solutions and production-ready workflows.

The role helps develop a future orchestration layer to coordinate AI agents, information flow, source consistency, quality and exceptions.

Solution design and delivery

  • Translate business opportunities into technical designs, build plans and working pilots; build AI agents, automations, internal tools and system-assisted processes.
  • Select simple architectures, prototype concepts, harden successful pilots and resolve process or specification gaps with business owners.
  • Integrate approved systems and data, including SAP Business One, HubSpot, Power BI, Valogix, SharePoint, Outlook and commercial and product data.
  • Build and maintain API integrations, authentication, connectors, data transformations and system handoffs; preserve source-of-truth rules and identifiers.
  • Align access, confidentiality, permissions and write-back authority with the intended role; create reusable integration patterns.
  • Own functional, edge-case, regression and business-user acceptance testing; validate model outputs, transformations, documents and system write-backs.
  • Design retries, idempotency, timeout handling, exception routing, audit trails and recovery paths; implement monitoring and observability.
  • Deploy in controlled stages, support user pilots, document architecture and operating procedures, and monitor adoption and business impact.
  • Maintain solutions as models, platforms, connectors and processes change; evaluate platforms and manage vendors against defined scopes and quality standards.
  • Help build the future AI orchestration layer, with reusable routing, synchronization, handoff, quality, monitoring, exception and AgentOps patterns.

Candidate profile

  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, automation, systems integration or a related hands-on technical role.
  • Experience building and deploying real-world AI/LLM workflows with modern platforms and agent or orchestration tools.
  • Strong capability with Python, REST APIs, JSON, SQL/data manipulation, authentication concepts and workflow automation.
  • Experience integrating ERP, CRM, Microsoft 365, SharePoint and email platforms.
  • Strong production reliability knowledge, including testing, logging, monitoring, exception handling, permissions, data validation and secure write-back.
  • Ability to map business processes, identify failure points and exceptions, and create practical technical workflows.
  • Sound judgment about AI recommendations, preparation, approvals and actions; ability to work independently from clear objectives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, including explaining technical trade-offs to non-technical leaders and users.
  • SAP Business One, HubSpot, Microsoft Graph, Power Platform, Azure, OpenAI/Azure OpenAI, Anthropic or comparable platform experience is an asset.
  • Distribution, manufacturing, industrial products or inventory-intensive environment experience is a plus; a computer science or engineering degree is also a plus.

Work arrangement

  • The company describes a collaborative work model with Monday through Thursday in office and Friday as a flex day.
  • The role is based in Langley, British Columbia.

What is offered

  • The opportunity to build applied AI capability across real business use cases in an established, profitable company.
  • The company describes a high-performance environment focused on ownership, decision velocity, continuous improvement and results.
  • Medical benefits, parking, laptop and smartphone are offered; the office is described as a new, open-concept space in Langley.
