What You’ll Work On

• Pretrain and post-train large models, including reinforcement-learning approaches.
• Build foundation models for financial time series from the ground up.
• Develop multi-agent LLM systems that support and automate investment research.
• Conduct systematic alpha research using modern deep learning methods.
• Take research from idea to production with engineering and investment teams.

What They’re Looking For

• Master’s or PhD in a quantitative field such as computer science, mathematics, statistics, or physics.
• Strong track record in published research, building industry models at scale, or strategies running in live production.
• Hands-on modern deep learning experience, including Transformers, reinforcement learning, and sequence modeling.
• Proficiency in PyTorch or TensorFlow and strong Python programming; C++ is a plus.
• Ability to frame open-ended problems, design rigorous experiments, and communicate results clearly.
• Experience at a leading AI research lab, big tech research team, quantitative trading firm, or hedge fund is highly valued.
• Quant research experience applying deep learning to signal generation or systematic strategies is highly desirable; finance experience is welcome but not required.
