AI Governance Lead

Salary

• AED 30K per month
• We’re looking for an experienced AI Governance Lead to drive responsible AI adoption, establish enterprise-wide governance frameworks, and ensure AI initiatives remain compliant, trustworthy, and aligned with business objectives.
• 🔎 Key Requirements:
• 8+ years of experience in AI/ML, data governance, technology risk, or digital transformation
• Experience leading AI or technology maturity assessments (Gartner, CMMI, or equivalent)
• Proven track record designing and implementing governance frameworks, policies, and risk management programs
• Strong understanding of the AI/ML lifecycle and associated risks including bias, drift, explainability, and security
• Experience developing AI governance policies, standards, and control frameworks
• Strong knowledge of AI regulations and frameworks including EU AI Act, ISO 42001, NIST AI RMF, and GDPR
• Experience managing AI risk, compliance, and responsible AI initiatives
• Ability to establish governance committees, review boards, and oversight processes
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
• Experience working across business, technology, legal, risk, and data teams
• Certifications such as GRCP, CDMP, CIPP/E, CISSP, or AI Ethics qualifications are a plus
• Experience with AI/ML platforms such as Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, Vertex AI, or Databricks is preferred
• This role focuses on leading AI maturity assessments, developing enterprise AI governance frameworks, managing regulatory compliance, promoting responsible AI practices, and enabling organizations to scale AI initiatives safely and effectively.
