Role overview

Responsibilities

• Turn business problems into practical, scalable AI and machine-learning solutions.
• Develop algorithms, models, computational systems, and data pipelines for training and production.
• Apply deep learning and generative AI to business use cases, accounting for data and infrastructure needs, including edge and HPC.
• Research AI and HPC algorithms, models, and simulations for client problems.
• Prepare large-scale datasets and build efficient storage and retrieval for models and knowledge.
• Explain the value of model approaches and collaborate with business and technical teams through production integration.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Significant experience deploying machine-learning models at production scale, including monitoring, alerting, automated bug filing, and auditing.
• Considerable experience with computer science foundations, computer architecture, systems engineering, and programming.
• Experience with distributed computing systems and architectures, such as big data, HPC, scientific computing, grid, cloud, or distributed networks.
• Some experience building and deploying AI/ML software in a cloud environment.

Preferred qualifications

• Python proficiency and familiarity with Python AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch are preferred.
• Language-model API experience and optimization for specific applications are preferred.
• Experience with one or more of Python, C++, Java, R, or SQL is preferred.
• Strong communication, client-facing consulting, and cross-functional collaboration skills are preferred.
• An MS or PhD in a related field is preferred.
